Well the kids are after me to do some more with this site, so here goes.
I figured I would include some of the thousands of photos I have taken these last few years. I got interested in photography when I had to take it for my college degree and found out there was not that much magic involved in the process. I worked for years with film and the smelly chemicals that go with it. I worked at photography both as a hobby and as a career even teaching photograpy at Utah State University extention here in Vernal, Utah. I even had two complete darkroom setups including enlargers for Black and White as well as color.
Then along come digital, that is when Photography really took off for me. Since I started shooting Digital I have taken well over 10,000 pictures. I wore one camera out until it would not work at all. Now as an art and photography teacher I can hopefully instill some of my interests in my students.
I am not a professinal Photographer by any means, but I am willing to answer what questions I can.
rigth now I have three digital cameras, two Fujifilm and on Sony. The one I wore out was also a Fujifilm. I have two Kodaks that are at use in my photography class. The two Fujis I have are a S6000fd which is a great camera to fall back on and a S8100fd which I kinda regret purchasing and am trying to sell it.
The Sony is the A2oo Digital SLR camera and right now it is my primary camera. For years I swore I would not go to DSLR until I found the Sony and now I love it. For anyone wanting to go digital SLR I would recommend the Sony A200, if you can find it. I think it has been replaced by the A300 and A350. I understand these are great starter cameras if you are thinking about going Digital SLR.
